Frequently Asked Questions
Why do we ask for the guest’s phone number on the Frequent Rewards Registration form?
The phone number is used to access all Lenny’s Rewards account information both in our POS system and on lennys.com.
Does a guest need to keep their Frequent Rewards card?
No, the guest does not need to keep their Frequent Rewards card. Guests can give the phone number (area code + 7 digits) associated with their Lenny’s Rewards account to the team member at the cash register in order to add points to their account for the current order.
Why do we ask for the guest’s email address on the Frequent Rewards Registration form?
The email address is used to send the guest their welcome offer, their birthday sub, and their anniversary offer. Guests may opt out of emails, but will miss out on these offers.
Can I complete my account registration if I do not have a personal email address?
Yes, you can use a friend or family member’s email address in order to complete your account registration if you do not have a personal email address.
What kind of emails will be sent to Rewards members who “opt in” to receiving our emails?
1. Welcome email
2. Birthday email
3. Anniversary email
4. Other local emails
Does the guest have to give us their birthday?
If a guest doesn’t want anyone to know their birthday, they can just put any day they would like to receive their yearly free sub offer.
When can a guest begin using their Lenny’s Rewards Membership?
Once the Lenny’s Rewards account information has been registered in our system, each guest can begin giving their phone number associated with their Lenny’s Rewards account to the team member at the cash register in order to add points to their account the following day.
How can a guest redeem a free sub?
When the Lenny’s Rewards account phone number is entered into the computer, and the guest is due a free sub, the crew member at the cash register will ask if they want to redeem their free sub immediately (loud enough for other guests in line to hear). The guest can choose any 5 inch sub, Kaiser sandwich, 7.5 inch sub, wrap, or salad when redeeming their free sub.
Note: The guest does not have to redeem the reward immediately. There is no limit to how many rewards guests can earn and there is no expiration date on the rewards.
Can a guest use multiple rewards in one transaction?
As with all Lenny’s discounts, the free sub rewards can only be redeemed in one transaction at a time. Similarly, any other discount type may not be used in the same transaction as a free sub reward.
How can a guest check their Lenny’s Rewards points balance?
1. Guests can visit the Lenny’s Rewards (green button in top right corner of lennys.com homepage) section of lennys.com and view their account information on the Check & Add Points page. Guests will need to complete and submit the information required.
2. Team members can check the guest’s point balance by entering the phone number associated with the member’s account on the POS.
3. The guest’s point balance is printed at the bottom of each receipt.
How can a guest update their Lenny’s Rewards account information?
Guests can visit the Lenny’s Rewards (green button in top right corner of lennys.com homepage) section of lennys.com and view their account information on the Member Information page. Guests will need to complete and submit the information required.
Will a guest earn a point for a sub even if they used a coupon to purchase it?
The only time a guest will not earn a point for a qualifying purchase is if they use a coupon that makes that item less than 50% of its original value. The guests will earn a point for qualifying purchases that they use a coupon with if it requires them to contribute at least 50% of the original value toward that purchase. For example, if they use a “Buy One 7.5 Inch Sub and Get One 7.5 Inch Sub Free” coupon or a “Buy One 7.5 Inch Sub and Get One 7.5 Inch Sub For $1.00” coupon, they will only receive one point from the purchase. If they use a “Buy One 7.5 Inch Sub and Get One 7.5 Inch Sub Half Off” coupon then they will receive 2 points.

The Lenny's Rewards program is valid at all Lenny's Sub Shop® locations. The card and the points accumulated on the card do not hold a cash value. The card is nontransferable and can only be used by the person to which it is registered. Lenny's reserves the right to change the program methodology, redemption value and operational execution at any time up to and including limiting the validity of points over time and their expiration date and cancelling the program in its entirety. Must be 13 years or older to participate. Use of this card constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Lenny's Rewards Program.
The data gathered from your use of the Lenny's Rewards Card is used solely by Lenny's Franchise Systems, LLC to provide loyal guests with special rewards and to provide mailings and coupons in accordance with ordering habits.
