Lenny’s Sub Shop Salutes Wounded Soldiers


 San Antonio Locations Donate to Fisher House Foundation a Week After July 4th


 


San Antonio, TX – Lenny’s Sub Shop, a 150-unit sub sandwich franchise, is paying tribute to wounded military servicemen/servicewomen though a donation to the Fisher House Foundation™ on July 12th. Three Lenny’s Sub Shop locations in the San Antonio market will donate 20-percent of the day’s sales to the foundation, which helps house family members of wounded soldiers being treated at the San Antonio Military Medical Center.


 


“With San Antonio being home to a major military medical center, we wanted to create a positive impact on the lives of area military veterans and their families,” said Lenny’s franchisee Bob Orrison. “By partnering with The Fisher House Foundation, we can help fuel their mission to ensure military families can stay together, while soldiers go through their healing and recovery process.”


 


“We are glad to be associated with an organization like Fisher House,” said Lenny’s franchisee Kamlesh Patel.  “The charity has a wide reach and a local presence.  We are proud to help military families in any way we can."


 


The Fisher House Foundation supplies military families with free housing located close to the military medical center in which their loved one is being treated. According to the Fisher House Foundation website, over 17,000 families are provided lodging across the world annually.
