Lenny’s Sub Shop is getting more “social” in its approach to growing its brand.
The Memphis-based company is starting a social media promotion: customers who “like” its Facebook page receive a free half-pound sub.
The idea came about when Lenny’s was working with Atlanta-based No Limit Media Consulting. The company tracks social media and found that one of its other client’s giveaways increased membership significantly. Since Lenny’s has been focused on technology, having developed its own point-of-sale system, for example, the company decided to give this a try.
