Lenny's Sub Shop Franchisees Up and Running Faster with CyberaApril 16, 2008
Cybera, a leading managed service provider, today announced that Lenny's Sub Shops, a current Cybera broadband customer, will utilize Cybera's wireless connectivity solution for future store openings where applicable. Lenny's custom point of sale (POS) solution and Cybera's managed wireless broadband service make up the basic offering of this bundle, which makes it easier for franchisees to get up and running in new restaurant locations. In addition to the wireless upgrade, Lenny's is also implementing a bandwidth upgrade to accommodate the demand it anticipates from new restaurant data traffic.
Any Lenny's franchisee who purchases the Lenny's POS will also receive Cybera managed broadband network access. The POS and Cybera network bundle provides franchisees with the benefit of advanced reporting and sales promotional benefits coupled with the flexibility to connect using wireless broadband technology where traditional wired connectivity options might hamper or complicate a store grand opening. More importantly, the wireless option greatly simplifies the installation process and shortens the time to get new Lenny's sites up and running, which is important for the fast-growing franchisor.
While many restaurants are slowing their pace amid an uncertain economy, Lenny's Franchisor is growing faster than ever. With 165 locations, the quick-serve restaurant chain with the friendly atmosphere and trademark delicious Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches opened about 50 locations in 2007. Hundreds of franchise agreements have already been signed in 21 states around the country.
