Tennessee-based Lenny's Sub Shop is planning a major franchise expansion in Michigan. With three restaurants operating in the state, the company plans to open an additional 20 to 25 locations in Detroit within the next five years. The Detroit expansion is part of an aggressive national growth strategy to develop new stores in Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Orlando and Washington, D.C.
Founded in 1998, Lenny's charges franchise fees of $15,000 to $25,000 and the investment to own and run a Lenny's Sub Shop is typically $180,000 to $328,000.
