Lenny's Franchisor LLC, franchisor of Lenny's Sub Shops, has announced that franchise group Clairris LLC, led by Ralph and Dian Trosclair and Sean Norris, will open five restaurants in Blount and Sevier counties.
Their first restaurant is currently under construction in Alcoa. The restaurant is scheduled to open in November. The company did not asnnounce a location or schedule for thev Sevier County restaurants.
"We are presently looking for additional sites near Blount Memorial Hospital on Lamar Alexander Parkway and in Sevier County," Norris said. "We believe the East Tennessee area will embrace Lenny's because of our quality products, fresh baked bread, hot-off-the-grill Philly Cheesesteaks and great service."
Dian Trosclair and Norris got their start in the industry at one of the first Ruby Tuesday restaurants in Knoxville.
Len and Sheila Moore opened the original Lenny's Sub Shop in a Memphis suburb in 1998. Franchisor CEO George Alvord and private investors acquired ownership of the company from Len Moore in 2004. Lenny's has sold franchises in 20 states.
